The Monday Mo. Co. - DTFP in Brum

Back in hometown Brum at the weekend and with a Saturday morning to spare, what better thing to do than pop into The Custard Factory (I kid you not) and check out the West Midlands' answer to TriCo - the Monday Mo. Co. shop.

I'm obviously Jonny-cum-lately cuz I didn't realise this was the retail offshoot of Boneshaker Choppers. And very nice it is too - filled with all those objects of desire usually only seen in ads in DiCE and GKM.

Better yet, Benny popped in, so there was a chance to yak about potential paint for the Freaker and more importantly, which painter. I know Benny puts his paint and engines out so it was nice to confirm my shortlist for when the money tree shakes again. He also confirmed his support for TC's build - so votes should be growing nicely.

The shop itself is ideally placed in a paved square with plenty of space to park your sled - something Monday Mo. Co. is encouraging. As the areas is surrounded by empty warehouses, it's also the ideal location for Mama Tried indoor show/party/Black Country-Trip-Out-kinda-thing and Benny confirmed the wheels are already in motion for a get together in April and plenty more planned for the summer - keep your eyes peeled.

In among all the cool T-shirts, jackets, gloves, lids and custom nick-nacks, pride of place goes to a real nice Ironhead and a Flatty - plus the Boneshaker Mutt bike.

If you are in Brum, it's well worth searching out. Or see the website at http://mondaymoco.com
